I don't have recording capability now, so I can't record a sound byte. I purchased it from a local music store that sells "fiddles" and not "violins".

Simeon Chambers occasionally lists some sycamore backs. He is on Ebay as well as an Ebay store. I just looked and he has three sycamore backs for violins currently listed.
