Burl is very dense/hard and generally non-resonant. Not ideal, in my opinion.
Even Birdseye Maple is generally considered unideal in most cases. Burl usually lacks consistent structure and texture. |

It does not hapen to me ... most of the time. I need to upgrade the forum software to the latest version ... time is a real issue for me right now, so I have been unable to do so. |

Rosewood pegs usually work very well because the oils and resins found in the wood act as natural lubricants. |
