| Here are the STRAD magazine dates for the thickness maps.
Strad diagrams are in DEC 2002. Guarneri diagrams are in SEPT 2005. Back copies can be ordered Thank you! |

| How many notes away is each string away from breaking? How many notes can a safely tune up without risking breakage?
It depends on the width of the strings and their quality |
