No I don't feel tension and I do try and keep in mind to keep it straight I just forget if I'm not diong it consciously and seems to sink back to that position.

I have put the sticky markers to see where I should be putting my fingers but that isn't too helpful cos almost all of the time I spend looking at the sheet music.

I had not given up playing, I have been practicing steadily as usual just not posting about it.

I had my 1st lessons today in irish fiddle specifically.

It was really fun but frustrating ...
