May be rancid and not dried fully? I have some dried rancid oil. It doesn’t smell bad after it dried. |

I always have a little bit of hollow in the middle. it can just close perfectly without any clamp by a rubbed joint. After glued, there is no visible line under a 60x magnifiers.

A gewa style single blade cutter works really well. Hold it like a pen and 'writing' on the edge. It is not hard to cut a no mistake purfling grove with it.
