Hello, and thanks for the registration.

I'm building a musical instrument similar to a guitar, very short scale (20") and I am posting a question for the luthiers. I'm not a violin player or builder, but rather interested in some aspects of craftsmanship that may be applicable to both trades, which I'll spell out better in my question.
