I've just acquire a Willy Eichler violin bow. It's octagonal, silver mounted, and also bears a "PEATES, Utica NY" stamp. I've confirmed that Peates, in Utica did sell Willy Eichler bows in the 30's, but I can't find much other info on Eichler. Does anyone have any resources that list any info on Willy Eichler? Any guess on the value range? Elderly Instruments lists a nickle silver Willy Eichler bow for sale for $285.

Thanks!
