Hello All,

Suggestions for more imaginative titles for categories and forums would be greatly appreciated.

We are #1 on Google for "violin forum", hopefully together we can make this interesting enough to draw a nice amount of traffic (now that we are free of the troubles we had with the old forum style).

Hi Leif. Nice to see the new forum online. If I may suggest, a few simple changes to the look and feel will make a big difference. Even replacing the default PHPBB image in the upper left to something specific to this forum would really make a big difference. Best of luck.

Thanks for the tip. I will be working on the style, and yes, that image has to go. Once I have a new one created, I will replace it.

Any chance we get a bass picture for the Bass making forum?

Seems PHPBB uses the same image for all of the forums, so I don't know if there is anything I can do about it.

I can set up a different style sheet for each page, however, which could have it own feel and colour scheme.

At this stage, however, I would like to concentrate on quality rather than looks. My time will be limited in the next few weeks.

Hi again, Leif.
Usually, users get a title, like Member, Super member, etc. (sometimes based on the number of posts they made)
Yours is Site Admin.
Mine is empty too, as all other members who joined.

At the top of the page, there's a "Users groups" link, which isempty for the moment.
Is it related to the User title?

I have noticed the lack of titles ... however haven't figured out how to enable/disable the feature yet.

Haven't figured out the users groups yet either.

I could enable the avatars ... however, don't know if we may run into trouble (I have seen problems on other boards).

Will continue to try to learn and improve as I have time.

Hi Leif,

I have used phpBB and it is a tad tricky to replace the image. If I remember correctly, I replaced the image by simply renaming the new image I created to what it is named in the page template and put it in the proper directory.
