This has got to be one of the more expensive liquids on the planet.

It is also remarkably beautiful in it's lovely yellow color and tendency to darken the winter growth on spruce.

Any theories as to what this stuff is made of?

Most people agree it is a commercialized variation on the potassium nitrite treatment. In case it is, I think some extra colour has been added to it.

The most expensive liquid? I think "Old Wood" is even more expensive. If it is indeed potassium nitrite, it must be nice to sell that at the liter price of a champagne from 1917. Very Happy
