As I was cleaning up for a garage sale with my parents I ran across a Jackson Guldan Antonius Stradivarius Violin Faciebat Anno 17. I was wondering if anyone had any information on this? Certainly looks neat! Smile

Most repair people seem to hate them, but some players like them. The construction system was really bizarre-- they are designed for real factory mass production, as explained in Don Stackhouse's post in the thread above.

There were apparently various model levels. How does yours seem?

Looks like you may have one of the lower quality J-Gs. Looks like painted purfling. I'd also guess that it has no linings (I worked on one like that).
