cutting the F holes--- should the wings be concave ?

as far as being correct in shape factor------ once the F holes are cut----
the part of the wings that are out on the flexible ends--- (the diving boards if you will) ---- should those be cut or scraped on the surface so as to be slightly
concave as you approach the tips ?

I am all most ready for a ground coat---- so now is the time to do that if it needs doing .....

Yes, a bit of concavity is the classical Italian way. the different prominent makers did it in slightly different ways, and there's also a 19th century French style and an early 20th century Italian style that are slightly different in their own ways. If you're really fine tuning, there are several other things you can do in that neighborhood as well.

Do you have photos? A photo from the side would be good, too.
