I've looked at the music. Pretty easy except it goes way too fast.

Hey, what do you expect from us? Smile
First of all you didn't post a real question. So the answers will be, well, limited. Second, perhaps only few people have played that piece and did Bruch or Wieniawski instead. It's not necessarily a matter of quality.
So, what exactly are your problems within this movement? If it's just the tempo, I'd suggest practice it as you did it with the third movement of Wieniawski d minor. Or with Vieuxtemps d minor.
We cannot give an answer unless we know what's going wrong.

Actually, I decided to begin the first movement instead. I was just trying to give the 3rd mvmt a try because it sounded so cool. The 1st mvmt is much easier to play than the third. I hate all the accidentals in the 3rd mvmt, making it harder to play.
