So, I post on my FaceBook account that I am tired of waiting to save up for a high quality violin and that I would be buying one a Chinese import to learn on. A friend in my medieval reenactment group has two, one of them a student violin that she is going to loan out to me for an extended period.
I like free. Free is a Good Thing (tm)! |

| I will be picking the fiddle up tonight from the friend. Tonight, I will also begin my first practice session. I am probably going to start a new thread as a running log of my thoughts, troubles and successes along the way. |
