Does any one know of any good exercises to combat tendinitis in the elbow? (left arm)

I do two things, I put a velcro wrapped brace (which has a little gel-like pad built in) below my elbow before exercising (its not bothered by my early efforts at learning the violin so far) and I do a series of exercises recommended by the physical therapist I went to see since this got pretty bad for awhile. I would recommend a trip to a PT since they know of exercises that untrained people don't know about and it could make a big difference to you!
