Contest Rules | Entry Form
ESSAY CONTEST RULES
1. Winning essays will demonstrate ability to review the book in some fashion; essays should reflect materials covered in the book, and not a review of products sold by the company, or a narrative of personal experience unrelated to the topics in the book.
2. Essays will be at least 60 words in length; there is no upper limit to the length. If there is not enough space in the Entry Form window, please contact customer service.
3. Contest is world-wide, and not limited to US. No prize, however, will be awarded without address verification/copyright relinquishment postcard return (see #12).
4. All entries with verified purchase of book in paperback or wireless versions will receive a gift package of Hill rosin, tourte mute and Fiddlebrite. BestStudentViolins.com reserves the right to disqualify entries that use abusive or inappropriate language.
5. The three best reviews will get to choose (in order of 1st, 2nd and 3rd awards) from among the following prizes:
• GEWA Venetian Oblong Violin Case (pronounced gay'-wah); or
• SV-175 Violin Outfit, any size; or
• double violin case; or
• full size (4/4) Glasser Advanced Composite violin bow: Gold stick and gold hair; or
• shaped viola case (size subject to availability); or
• shaped violin case (size subject to availability).
6. Entry deadline: Tuesday, Dec. 1st, 12:00 midnight. No entries accepted after this date/time.
7. All postcard verifications must be received by December 12th, 2009 (see #12).
8. Contest decisions will be announced on December 12th, 2009.
9. The book may be acquired via:
• Book Edition
• Kindle Edition: may be read on Kindle or Itouch
• MobiPocket: may be read on your computer with free software offered on that page
• Contents: may be read for free on the web (click on links)
10. Friends to whom I've sent a complimentary copy are also eligible to enter; the entries will be judged by a disinterested third party.
11. All entries must have a verifiable address, though a PO box will be fine. This address will not be used for any other purpose or sold!
12. Participants will be mailed a postcard which they will return, signed, to relinquish copyright and verify their address. Postcards will be mailed Dec. 1 and must be received by Dec. 12th to receive prize. All essays will become the property of SunMusicStrings and may be used in the second edition of the book. _________________ Connie's Violin Page
