I don't understand how it works still, can someone tell me which positions correspond to what notes.
The videos I've looked at only discuss the position and don't say anything about the notes.
So for now I just want to know what notes correspond to what position so I can then start practicing them. |

Again, when you first asked about scales, I posted some links with scales showing which fingers on which strings get which notes.
If you scroll down this article there is a picture showing all the first position notes up to the fourth finger:

You can look around for more scales.
If by position, you mean moving your hand further up the neck, you are not ready for that, so it would be quite hard to explain. |
