I could not find information on this book via Amazon. What more can you tell us? Have you seen it? What would we find interesting?

I have a copy of this book that I bought at a used book store in Toronto. It was published in 1969.Of intrest are the chapters on aesthetics, acoustics with facts on "Psycho-physiology",history and appreciation of sonority. The chapters on the workshop would not be of much more than a passing intrest to an experienced maker. It is always nice to find a book to add to the collection of violin literature and this is a good scientific and artisitic volume.Perhaps a search at the U.of T. library might help to locate a copy.Let me know if you are interested.Cheers,J.A.

With the author name, date published, and title, I can see if I can get it via interlibrary loan and take a look. Thanks.

You misspelled the name (or Amazon did):

http://www.amazon.com/Violin-History-Aesthetics-Manufacture-Acoustics/dp/B0038EOIZ8

Edit: nope, this version of the name is correct. Here's the full information on the book:
