Thanks a lot for sharing. Your left hand fingers are pretty rounded over the fingerboard which is good.
Looking at the video clip, you will notice that your left hand wrist tends to bend inward towards the violin neck. Nothing wrong with it from time to time. But the fingers will have more leverage if there's a straight line from the back of your left hand down to the elbow.
You may find that as you are straightening out your wrist a bit, the pinky gets further away from the fingerboard. This is solved by rotating the wrist and upper arm clockwise (as was shown by grabbing the violin neck in the other post on establishing violin left hand position). The idea is to get the left hand palm to face the violin neck more. |
