Here is a great book...
http://www.violins.ca/books/bass_making_book.html
not sure why you would want a laminated one though... If you are going to make one... go all the way and carve one with a real top & back! I am guessing that by the time you build the moulds and establish a process, you can carve the real thing and have a real instrument Very Happy
...Keep in mind I am not a bass maker.

Nah I'd rather have a nice laminate not a fan of carved basses for live shows for studio carved basses win every time though

do you know where i could find plans for making moulds and steam bending the top and back
