Hello,
I have altered this post.
Several inactive accounts have been deleted, which were created when this board was new, and lacked the security measures we now have in place.
I hope this has not affected any of our loyal members. _________________ Leif Luscombe

How often would one have to post to keep from being deleted??? I read the board nearly everyday as it is a great source of information but I don't make any posts... It's kinda nice to log in and see what the new posts are....Regards, Lonnie... |

Hi Leif.
As long as there's no spam posted on the forums, I don't see why we should delete some inactive user accounts.
Furthermore I don't see how deleting them would make the board more active.
Best regards,
François |

I deleted a few accounts that were hanging around from the time shortly after the board's creation ... before we put measures in place to combat unwanted members/posts. Those accounts that I deleted did not have any posts, some were .ru email addresses, or had languages other than English. I just felt better about cleaning these up as a precautionary measure.
I don't have any plans of continuing this, I just had some concerns about some of those inactive early registrations. No need for fear or concern.
If perchance anyone has inadvertently been affected by these measures, I apologize. _________________ Leif Luscombe
