hi all
do any of instructors in bow making classes offer any thing on this subject
the bow that I am attempting to replicate has some very minor spots where material was scraped away that is not consistent with the taper (hardly noticeable, but there)
could be all wet?

No, I don't think that bow tuning is ever considered. Some bow woods are very resonant bit I don't think anyone has ever related that to the quality of the finished bow. |

Ed thanks for the reply
I think that there is away to find out (maybe) put a pickup on the bow and look at the wave form at various spots (Way down the road)..got to get the bow made first
there is one thing I know in a hand made anything there is some necessary voo-doo that separates a master from the want to be's
