Hi,
I am not a musician, but love violin music. I discovered beautiful violin pieces used in Slovak National Theatre presentation video, but unable of identify the names (or at least composer) after 5 days of extensive searching. All what I have found is that artist is (probably) Roby Lakatos (but probably not composer). There is a large chance that such classical pieces will be known by professionals.
Here is the link:

Does anybody recognize at least one of them?
0:00 - 1:29 Hamlet
1:30 - 3:40 Ivanov (the Russian playwright Anton Chekhov)
3:46 - 5:43 Faust
5:48 - 7:20 Oresteia
Thank you
Ladislav |

It's viola you are hearing, not violin. Nevertheless, sorry, I'm not familiar with those pieces either. You might want to post at violinist.com. You'll meet professional musicians there. |
