Does anybody here know anything about the quality of these violins? Particularly the Gems 2 models? |

I don't even know what a Gliga violin is, but they have been repeatedly mentioned on this board.
Hmm. Are they an electric violin? Or a shop made acoustic violin? What? |

We used to carry the Gliga Maestro. It was a fine instrument; compared to the Eastman VL905 (similar price range), the Eastman is more open, responsive, and has a larger tone. I would imagine that the comparison to the Eastman would be the same at the lower price ranges (ie Gamma and Gems) as well.
The Gliga was well suited to chamber music, for its smaller, sweeter tone. _________________ Leif Luscombe
