Acoustic tuning: http://www.instrumentmaking.keithhillharpsichords.com/areatuning.0.html

This can be found on the Keith Hill site (difficult to understand)

I tried a build on a cheap kit and find that it is 100% valid and a serous build is in order

Basically this comes out of the Guild of St. Luke and can be applied by any good cabinet maker ...out come depends on skill and materials...some things never change

I am left with the belief that I actually know what I am doing on a build (a life changer)

Jim

When reading Hill;
For concept only ...Plates,Think of making a steel drum.as found in central America....different areas, different tones (knock values)

area size will define the sound and thickness is the variable
