As I was cleaning up for a garage sale with my parents I ran across a Jackson Guldan Antonius Stradivarius Violin Faciebat Anno 17. I was wondering if anyone had any information on this? Certainly looks neat!

Most repair people seem to hate them, but some players like them. The construction system was really bizarre-- they are designed for real factory mass production, as explained in Don Stackhouse's post in the thread above.
There were apparently various model levels. How does yours seem? |

Looks like you may have one of the lower quality J-Gs. Looks like painted purfling. I'd also guess that it has no linings (I worked on one like that). _________________ Doug Wall
