I've had the wierdest thing happened for about a week, on a violin that has been finished for several months now . Its stopped doing it now, but still, wierd. It has Eva P Gold strings on it and lately the G seems to be creeping up in tone and every day I have to let off tension. I can't see anything physical going on.
Violin completed several years ago, but I put a new top, very old wood, about 4-5 weeks ago. Revarnished entire violin.
I usually leave it out sitting in its case when not playing so its got constant exposure to room temps and humidity. But why the G, and why UP in tone? _________________ Dave in the Blue Ridge
