If anyone is interested, I have posted a couple of photo-stories on my website, chronicling a build (five-string fiddle) and a repair/completion (cello).
They are free...you may enjoy them.

The fiddle was a commissioned instrument, of highly figured Koa, and the cello (also commissioned) was an instrument begun almost thirty years ago, but never completed, as the maker (father of the customer) died about halfway into the project. It was Bird's-eye Maple and Western Red Cedar. _________________ Chet Bishop

Chet, thanks for these. I’ve told you before how much I enjoy reading your posts and blogs. These are a great continuation of that body of work.
You do a great job of both capturing the interaction with your clients and including enough details to be be both interesting and informative to your audience.
Well done! |

I bought a book on the e-publishing formats, but I am finding it pretty intimidating. I realize the .pdf documents are not very user-friendly, and I will try to re-format the e-books to work on mobile devices. It may take a bit...this is all very new to me, and completely outside my "comfort-zone." _________________ Chet Bishop
