Hello from Maine,
I was recently reading about experimental violins and found it interesting. Like the Mario Maccaferri plastic violin and the Douglas Martin balsa wood violin.
I find this especially interesting since I learned that violins as we know it have not changed much in 300 years! Imagine how hard this is for a computer technician to "process"
Are any of you working on or interested in violins that are a departure from the Strad?
