You mentioned Passione Strings in another related post and that was a surprise to me being I have been away from violin topics for about a year.
I was not prepared to find that the strings are available in several gauges.
My violin does not like tension. Would that suggest using the lightest gauges ?
I would just experiment as I often do but not at these prices ! _________________ I NEVER PRACTICE. I'M NOT FAMOUS YET. |

Lighter gauge may be better for your instrument. But that depends where you are coming from. If you are using steel core strings, then any gut or synthetic string will be low tension. If you instrument has trouble with standard Dominant strings, then you might wish to try the lighter gauge Passione strings. _________________ Leif Luscombe
