it is a full sized cello. i got the back from these guys:

sorry, i dont think they have a website. but call and talk to them. they are really nice people. they will send you out literature of their stuff in the mail. i know the one guys name is jim. i want to say the other guys name is john. but could be wrong.

i got that piece of wood for a steal of a price. it had a little bit of heartwood on the end edge. i think i paid $200 for it. i was able to color correct the heartwood during the varnish process. there is no way of telling now that it once existed! i think it is bigleaf maple....
