Barry... very nice work, and I love the F-hole signature. One question though... I notice a green thingmy on the high string end winding... Is that the plastic sleeve that used normally on the bridge for protection? If so, do you always leave it there?and why?... I usually just get rid of them and lately I have been compensating by touching the string slot on the bridge with super glue to help prevent the string from cutting into the bridge.
Cheers, Mat

Hey Matt. Yes that is the string sleeve. I too use a drop of super glue and or parchment but I usually leave it on the string sdo the customer can use it if they like. Some people really like to use them and some don't.

Not a bad idea... I never like to throw anything away, but I guess I always worried about the sleeve eventually creating a vibration rattle. I think I will try your idea a few times...
Cheers, Mat

You are correct about the possibility of creating a buzz. If I am going to leave it on I will slide it down as far as I can on the windings.
