Hello. Recently I saw a very little bite- about 0.07 X 0.03 inches near one of the f holes. varnish has not gone on that part, only the surface is a little depressed( as a little prick). It is worth of repairing or such a fault has no importance? Thank you |

The visual aspect most people desire in old violins is just a succession of small accidents...
The luthier may try (if it's the case) shallow the wood applying some water over it, but don't try that by yourself, mainly if the instrument is a good one. _________________ www.manfio.com
