I'm looking for the best ever starting violin!

I can't play but I've been playing guitar for 13 years and the tuning is similer so I'm not starting all from scratch.

What violin models are good to start off with?
I've found these violins from thomann.de are they any good, and which of them would you recommend?

http://www.eastmanstrings.com/eastmanstrings/workshop/workshop2.htm

Do you know where their workshop is?
Likely Eastman rather do the sourcing, QC and trading

What budget you have?
Very important, can you ears tolerate very poor sound even the instrument is well tuned and fingers on right position?

For a beginner, i'd suggest to buy a very cheap one
BUt you have many yrs playing guitar, this makes a big difference
I think u could get a better one if finance permits

http://www.abrsm.org/?page=home
has a system of testing players' ability from Grade 1 to Grade 8, after grade 8 is the performance diploma....and so on

a bit more than 500 Euro + postage
u can get a violin good enough to help u up to over grade 8 level but slightly inadequate for performance diploma level or further

one single violin that can last for many many years or your whole life UNLESS you are prodigy or your ears are particularly strong and sensitive to quality of sound from an instrument

Stentor violins are ok-ish but can become quickly annoying because they lack the finer qualities of better instruments.

Consider some brands in this list: best violin brands 2019
This post also recommend 1 item of each brand and review.
There are a lot of other brands but these brands we think that they're best for beginners and those on budget.
Hope this help for ones who have same question.
