So, I have been playing violin/fiddle for 12 years and have performed as far away as China. I have been using the same case that someone gave me, for 10 years now. It isn't nice, never was, but it's efficient. I have a Magginni violin made in Germany in the 1880's and it's worth a lot. I need a case that can keep my violin safe and can withstand my bad treatment of cases. Esthetic appeal is also important, and I prefer fiberglass, but I'm not set on it. I'm a college student so money is an issue. I'd like to spend less than $300 if possible. I'm thinking a Bobelock case might fit my needs. I'm looking at the Fiberglass Models 1060 and 1047 and the Regular Bobelock Hill Style case. Any suggestions? |
