Hi marlinark
what sort of grade of pieces do you want, and how long have you been playing violin

caeman Minuet in G.
One of my all time favourite pieces.I learned that almost as my first piece.I once heard this on the radio and thought "No, he doesn`t really get this piece." It was played forte mostly.I have an edition that is mostly piano.I still feel it was not played right even if it was Itzak Perlmann playing.Sorry Itzak mate. That`s how I feel.
A very elegant and ellusive piece that is ,in a way ,too easy to play .You feel with such elegance it should be more difficult.
That`s a paradox with some music. One passage can sound brilliant and be easy to play.Another bit will sound like nothing special but will be an absolute pig . |
